RHG now has a new table! Sam has completed an island table fit for her satyx, complete with water, bridges and a lighthouse. To test out the table two 50pt forces, trolls and legion, threw down in a mad search for supplies (likely ale).
The scenario was to control as many islands as possible, each side gaining a scenario point for each island they control at the end of their turn. Once one side was three up on the end of a round they win.
Trolls set their defences....
Thagrosh calls his warnbeasts forward onto the central island with the lighthouse.
Boomhowler sets forward with his mates to hunt some elfmeat. They are tasty...
Legion beasts are caught by some of Gunnbjorn's guns as the range decreases.
Adrock charges Flippers and cuts some large chunks off the beast. With only one wound, it is doubtful he will last long.
The fellcaller is smashed flat, but not before making two tough rolls. From the water, Kermit uses all of his bad words.
As the blitzer charges across to avenge the troll hero, the rest of the trolls dig in and fire. The two beasts across the water are heavily wounded.
After getting shot at by the Nyss, Boomhowler yells in rage (causing the raindeer to flee) and charges the surviving crew into the hex hunters.
Thagrosh uses his feat and the troll defence is overrun. The troll warlock manages to dodge most of the attacks directed at him, but the outlook is grim. The sluggers and bomber manage to free the boss from combat and as many shots as possible are aimed at Thagrosh. The enemy warlock is wounded, but alive.
